Spending Time With My Dad-dio
My latest visit back up to Montana brought me much joy (and sadness in departure). I surely feel that a piece of my heart resides in Montana and in a strange way feel most at home in this Last Best Place. The list of Things to Do was quite impressive and completed, save the Trip to Mt. Rushmore. One of the ways my Daddio and I spent quality time was out in the middle of nowhere, bringing life to his impressive gun collection. Dad's collection ranges from antiques born in the 1800's to newborns; Michael and I really enjoyed our time with Dad.

Year of the Spider (Spiders in Alabama)
There are spiders everywhere this year in Alabama. We've counted over 25 in the yard on one day. Lucky for us, they're setting up camp in our garden. With the exception of walking face first into their webs, I welcome their arrival.
