How to prepare for a Model Shoot

Did you book a Model Photo Shoot?

How to prepare, a couple short tips for beginning models!

Practice makes perfect:

Is the mirror your best friend? It needs to be. Find out your best angles and sides. Smile, frown, giggle, look sad....practice all your expressions and learn which ones compliment you. Some people are fantastic looking when they smile and show teeth. Others channel Mr. Ed and should work on a pretty pout. Know your strengths and weakness when it comes to facial expressions and posing.

Pick out your outfits, shoes and accessories. Nothing worse than not being prepared and not having enough choices for your photos. Bring the closet if you want.

To Do List:

Shave those legs and under arms
Check those roots-touch up if needed
Check your nails and toe nails-nude color is best
Lay off the beer or alcohol and dare I say any drugs prior to our shoot--fill up on water
Hit the sheets early and try to get at least 7-8 hours of shut eye
Confirm the shoot date and time at least 48 hours before your shoot
